Subway Is Finally Adding A New Footlong To Its Menu — But It's Not A Sandwich

Subway wishes to provide you with a confection. A sizable confectionery delight.

The sandwich chain is preparing to introduce what may be its most novel product in years: a footlong chocolate chip cookie to complement the footlong sandwich.

However, on Monday, December 4, which is National Cookie Day, select Subway locations in Chicago, Dallas, Miami, and New York will offer customers an early taste of the footlong cookie.

For a limited time only, those will be converted from conventional Subway to a "Cookieway."  Additionally, the cookie will be complimentary with the purchase of any footlong sub from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time—of course, only while supplies last.

True Subway enthusiasts are aware that this is not the initial occasion the restaurant has presented the enormous cookie delight.

In 2022, the company introduced an identical limited edition of the footlong cookie, which sold out in less than two hours.

However, that cookie was exclusively available at a single location in Miami; therefore, this modest expansion may enable additional enthusiasts to partake in the excitement prior to the 2024 launch.

Through an indeterminate period of time, MVP Rewards members of Subway can redeem a bonus reward for a complimentary cookie when they purchase a six-inch or footlong sub.

Each cookie sold in December will support the Subway Cares Foundation, which helps "sandwich artists" in the US, Canada, Australia, and Puerto Rico pay for school.
