New Flight Routes That Will Take Off In 2024
Alaska Airlines anticipates a slew of new routes in 2024, including daily, year-round flights between Portland, Oregon and Nashville, Tennessee beginning on March 14.
The carrier will depart DFW more than 850 times a day in summer 2024, a record. Albany, Redmond, Barcelona, and Tulum will launch from DFW.
Starting April 22, Delta Air Line will add flights from Austin to Nashville, Tennessee; Midland-Odessa, Texas; McAllen, Texas; Cincinnati; and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
In spring 2024, Frontier Airlines will expand into 10 key markets. Starting March 7, Tampa-Hartford, Cleveland-Montego Bay, Dallas-Jacksonville, and Pittsburgh-Atlanta will fly.
Hawaiian Airlines, which will merge with Alaska Airlines, will begin daily nonstop service between SLC and HNL on May 15.
JetBlue will begin daily nonstop service between John F. Kennedy International Airport and Felipe Carrillo Puerto Tulum International Airport (TQO), its 4th Mexican destination, on June 13, 2024.
Spirit Airlines will begin nonstop service to Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida on March 28, 2024.
United has applied to be the first US carrier to fly nonstop between Houston and Tokyo's Haneda Airport.
